Join the dedicated team at WestView Health Centre as a Medical Laboratory Assistant I. This role focuses on specimen collection, processing, and reporting in a multisite setting across Stony Plain, Devon, and Leduc. As a part time Medical Laboratory Assistant I, you will ensure high-quality service to clients by managing various laboratory functions, including blood specimen collection using both macro and micro phlebotomy techniques.

Your role will also involve performing ECGs and complete urinalysis, alongside accurate data entry and patient information handling in the EPIC system. Key Responsibilities:

- Collect blood specimens from patients of all ages
- Perform ECGs and complete urinalysis tasks
- Access patient information into the laboratory EPIC system




- Process and transport specimens and slides
- Provide reception and troubleshooting assistance for problem specimens Requirements:
- Completion of accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program
- Proven laboratory skills and data entry experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and time management abilities
- Adaptability in dynamic work environments
- Formal education and experience in urinalysis Deliver quality laboratory services while ensuring safety and proficiency in specimen management at WestView Health Centre.
