Provide essential lab services to patients at the Hanna Health Centre as a Medical Laboratory Assistant I. You'll handle specimens, perform tests, and ensure high-quality patient care in a safe setting. In this part-time position at the Hanna Health Centre, you will be responsible for various laboratory functions, including specimen management and reporting results.

Your role will involve manual and automated procedures under established standards set by the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-ray Technologists. You will also participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team, which includes on-call coverage with a quick response time. Key Responsibilities:

- Handle, process, and test specimens accurately
- Perform diagnostic imaging and cardiology procedures




- Report laboratory results following legal standards
- Work all shifts and remain on-call as needed
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient care Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program
- At least 2 years of healthcare experience preferred
- Familiarity with Clinitek Status and Epic Beaker
- Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills
