As a Logistics Coordinator , you will support daily rail operations within your assigned territory, ensuring the safe, efficient, and customer-focused movement of railcars. Reporting to the Railcar Logistics Manager, you will balance planning, coordination, and real-time problem-solving to ensure shipment accuracy, operational compliance, and on-time delivery.
Authorizing railcar releases in accordance with company guidelines and monitoring approved quantities to prevent over-shipments. Tracking monthly purchase orders and maintaining operational records and files. Monitoring railcar flows to minimize asset usage charges and ensure efficient cycle times.
Responding to internal customer requests and providing timely operational support. Collaborating closely with yard staff to support daily operations and meet shipping deadlines. You have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of logistics experience (rail logistics experience is an asset).
You have strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English. You are proficient in Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Word, and Excel. You have completed post-secondary education, preferably in Business Administration, Transportation, or Logistics, which is considered an asset.
