Make a difference as a part time Registered Practical Nurse in the Acute Crisis Evaluation & Response Team. Provide essential care to patients experiencing mental health crises. In this role, you will report to the Manager of Mental Health Programs and engage with patients in acute crisis situations. Collaboration with psychiatry and emergency teams ensures a smooth transition for patients requiring deeper care. Carry out clinical and risk assessments for crisis patients
- Participate in emergency management, including Code Whites Must be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Completion of a Practical Nursing program required
- Experience with crisis management and mental health basics
- Valid BCLS certification and crisis intervention training
- Knowledge of mental health legislation and treatment methods Contribute your expertise in mental health care while working collaboratively on a agile crisis team.
