Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Mental Health Therapist - Staff $35.546 to $43.466

: Working under the general direction of the Manager of Rehabilitation Services, the staff Mental Health Therapist is responsible for the development, delivery and evaluation of programs and modules appropriate to the assessed needs of patients referred to the Therapies program.

Education

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Licenses

- Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

- Bachelor of Chemical Dependency is acceptable
- Bachelor of Psychology is acceptable
- Bachelor of Therapeutic Recreation is acceptable
- Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
- Bachelor of Social Work is acceptable
- Bachelor of Education is acceptable

Knowledge and Abilities

- Ability to develop, evaluate and modify programming provided to clients
- Knowledge in woodworking and use of power tools
