Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Microbiology Laboratory Technician to join our agile team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to vital diagnostic processes within a reputable laboratory setting. The successful candidate will perform microbiological setup, ensure quality control, and support data collection efforts to uphold the highest standards of accuracy and safety.

Duties

- Plant specimens to culture bacteria.
- Prepare and stain slides .
- Follow quality control and safety standards.
- Collect and record laboratory data meticulously to support diagnostic reporting.
- Assist in preparing laboratory reagents, media, and other materials necessary for microbiological testing.




- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper sanitation practices within the laboratory environment.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot technical issues and improve laboratory workflows.
- Qualifications
- Prior laboratory experience with a focus on microbiology or related fields is highly preferred.
- Strong analysis skills with an aptitude for precise data collection and interpretation.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and laboratory safety standards..
- Familiarity with microbiological techniques, including culturing, staining, and microscopy.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A diploma or degree in microbiology, biology, or a related scientific discipline is desirable.
