Our teams work with public and private sector clients on diverse range of civil infrastructure projects including municipal roadways, linear infrastructure, drainage and hydrology, water/wastewater systems, and stormwater management. We are seeking candidates who are interested in working with our Municipal Infrastrastructure and Roads team based out of our Barrie Office.
Producing detailed design drawings in AutoCAD Civil3D at various stages of the project – preliminary, detailed designs, and tenders for municipal infrastructure and roads. Building and refining complex 3D corridor model Supporting engineers in designing roadway and underground pipe networks that meet municipal and regulatory standards Assisting with design calculations, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates. Assisting with preparing municipal special provisions, schedule of items, and tender documents.
Supporting contract administrators and construction inspectors as needed during construction. A diploma in Civil Technology or Computer Drafting (AutoCAD/Civil 3D), or equivalent experience. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in municipal infrastructure design and construction.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D Strong design skills and a passion for precision and creativity. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, SharePoint) and PDF editing tools. Construction site inspection or field experience.
The final compensation offered will be based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
