- Graduate of a Community College in the Medical Office Administration Course or equivalent required
- Medical Terminology Certificate required
- Clerical experience in a clinical setting required
- Keyboarding (45 wpm/95% accuracy) and Data Entry (6200 kph/95% accuracy) skills required
- Experience in Meditech scheduling module (registering patients, scheduling appointments) required
- Experience in Canadian Organ Replacement Register (CORR) registrations/maintenance required
- Knowledge of collective agreements, payroll time sheet computer entry experience required
Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrated proficiency with Computer applications (EXALIS, POET, Word, Excel, E-mail)
- Transplant work up and maintenance required
- Demonstrated ability in data collection, reporting and statistical analysis required
- Ability to publish policies on the Intranet required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written required
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all members of the health team required
- Excellent time management, problem solving and organizational skills (must be adaptable and able to work with interruptions, conflicting demands and subject to time pressure)

- Ability to work with minimal supervision in an environment of high activity required
- Good attendance and work record required
- Ability to transcribe Physician’s orders an asset
- Bilingualism (Advanced level English/French) is required.
