At Chateau Nova

Yellowknife, the overnight shift plays an important role in keeping the hotel running smoothly. While most of the hotel is winding down, our Night Auditor is making sure guests are supported, accounts are balanced, reports are accurate, and the next day starts on the right foot. We are looking for a full time Night Auditor to join our team.

The shift for this position is 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM , including weekends and holidays. As the Night Auditor, you will be responsible for both guest service and overnight audit duties. You will welcome and assist guests, manage front desk responsibilities, complete end-of-day balancing, prepare reports, and help ensure hotel policies and procedures are followed.

This role is ideal for someone who is calm, organized, accurate, and comfortable working independently overnight. You will be the key point of contact for guests during the night, so a professional attitude, sound judgment, and genuine hospitality are important. Provide friendly, professional service to guests throughout the overnight shift Complete nightly audit procedures accurately and on time Balance, verify, and audit hotel accounts, including room charges, food and beverage postings,



deposits, adjustments, and other transactions Follow hotel and company policies and procedures to support accuracy, accountability, and fraud prevention Support front desk operations, including wake-up calls, PBX, guest messaging, and bell service as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area Support hotel security and safety standards during the overnight shift Follow Nova Hotels standards for guest service, hygiene, grooming, health, and safety High school diploma required ~ Hospitality training or related coursework is considered an asset ~1-2 years of hospitality, hotel, front desk, or customer service experience preferred ~ Experience with POS systems, hotel systems, or switchboard operations is considered an asset ~ Ability to work independently and make sound decisions overnight ~ You enjoy helping guests and creating positive experiences You can work independently while still being part of a larger hotel team You understand that overnight work requires trust, responsibility, and positive judgment This role is based at the hotel front desk and office area during the overnight shift.
