Limited is seeking an experienced Manager, Operations to lead the safe, reliable, and efficient construction, maintenance, and operation of NBHDL’s overhead and underground electrical distribution system. The Manager, Operations will provide leadership to Operations and oversee distribution, construction and maintenance, capital projects, asset management, fleet and facilities, locating services, and operational planning. manage performance, staffing, resources, and labour relations in a unionized environment. Oversee distribution construction and maintenance, including subdivisions, new services, relocations, rebuilds, extensions, and system modifications.

Manage capital and operational projects, including budgeting, scheduling, contracting, quality, and contract administration. Ensure compliance with Ontario Regulation 22/04, safety requirements, corporate standards, and applicable legislation. Promote a strong safety culture through training, inspections, and effective work practices.

Oversee asset management, fleet, equipment, facilities, inventory,



and locating services. Develop departmental plans, budgets, policies, and procedures to improve operational effectiveness. Collaborate with Engineering, employees, customers, municipalities, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies.

Support regulatory and ESA audits and participate in the Management Availability rotation. 10–15 years of related experience, including at least 5 years of management/supervisory experience. ~ Experience in electrical distribution, utility operations, engineering, construction, or a related field. ~ Strong knowledge of distribution systems, construction practices, safety, and regulatory requirements. ~ Demonstrated project, budget, contractor, and people-management experience. ~ Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
