Safety Net Security (SNS), a trusted security provider serving clients throughout British Columbia, is seeking an experienced and highly accountable Full-Time Site Security Supervisor to take ownership of the day-to-day security program at one of our dedicated properties in the Kelowna/Lake Country area.
This is not simply a guard position.
The Site Security Supervisor is responsible for the overall day-to-day success of the security operation at the property, including leadership of the assigned security team, maintaining service standards, ensuring guards understand and perform their duties, addressing site concerns, maintaining strong communication with the client, and keeping SNS management informed of anything affecting the account.
The successful candidate will be someone who takes ownership of their site, their team, and the quality of service being delivered.
Guided by our core values of People, Integrity, and Community, Safety Net Security takes pride in providing professional, proactive, respectful, and dependable security services.
Position Overview The Site Security Supervisor is the primary on-site security leader and acts as the connection between the client, frontline security staff, and Safety Net Security management.
You will be expected to know what is happening throughout the property, understand the responsibilities of each guard, ensure expectations are being met, and proactively address concerns before they become larger issues.
You will work directly on site while also providing leadership and oversight to the security team.
Success in this position requires strong leadership, professionalism, organization, sound judgment, accountability, and the ability to build positive working relationships with guards, management, residents, guests, staff, contractors, and the client.
