Under the general supervision of the CLINICAL NURSING DIRECTOR, OR THE ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, NURSING EDUCATION, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St.

Boniface

Hospital, the CONTINUING EDUCATION INSTRUCTOR is responsible for: acting as a clinical educational resource for nursing unit personnel; planning, coordinating, and in conjunction with the Nursing Director, evaluating unit specific orientation programs; participating in educational activities within the specific Department, the Patient Care Portfolio, and throughout the Hospital;

Experience in educational program planning an asset. Demonstrated teaching experience preferred.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Bachelor of Nursing Degree required.



Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred. Successful completion of the BLS Instructor Certificate will be obtained at a time scheduled by the employer or at a time mutually agreed upon between the nurse and the employer required. Demonstrated ability in communicating with and teaching adults.
