Job Summary

Our family medical practice is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide part-time patient care and coverage when our physicians are unavailable. This role may grow into a full time position in the future.

Responsibilities

● Assess patients, develop treatment plans, and provide follow-up care

● Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic conditions within your scope of practice

● Order and review appropriate investigations, prescribe treatment, and make referrals as needed

● Document visits and communicate care plans with patients and the practice team

● Provide coverage for scheduled physician absences, including weekend shifts

Qualifications

● Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario in the Extended Class as a Nurse Practitioner

● Experience in family practice or primary care preferred

● Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills

● Ability to work independently and collaborate with physicians and other team members
