Join Assisted Living Alberta as an Occupational Therapist I to enhance functional independence for clients in Stettler and Elnora. This part-time role emphasizes evidence-informed care and community engagement. As an Occupational Therapist I, you will deliver comprehensive services focused on improving self-care, productivity, and leisure activities.
You will collaborate with clients and families, engage with interprofessional teams, and provide consulting, assessment, and intervention strategies. This position integrates your expertise with community resources to support holistic care and quality improvement efforts within the health care setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment and evidence-informed treatment plans
- Collaborate with clients and families in rehabilitation goals
- Support transitions and case management initiatives
- Participate in interprofessional health care team activities
- Contribute to mentorship and qualified community development
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Registration with Alberta College of Occupational Therapists
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required
- Previous home care OT experience is preferred
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle for transportation
