Join Assisted Living Alberta as an Occupational Therapist, utilizing evidence-informed practices to enable client independence. This full time position involves mobile work between Didsbury and Airdrie, focusing on personalized care plans. As an Occupational Therapist I, you’ll work collaboratively within a dedicated home care team.
Your role will include assessing client needs, implementing and reviewing care interventions, and fostering continuity of care. You'll be responsible for empowering clients through therapeutic engagement amidst diverse health care challenges, ensuring their participation in all care processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement client-centered care plans
- Conduct assessments and provide direct OT interventions
- Engage clients in meaningful self-care and wellness activities
- Collaborate with healthcare teams and family members
- Participate in quality improvement and mentoring activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Registered with Alberta College of Occupational Therapists
- Experience with diverse client populations
- Ability to handle physical demands of the role
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
