Occupational
Therapist, Dadzi Wellness Primary Care Centre Contract Casual The Occupational Therapist is an integral member of the interprofessional team at the Dadzi Wellness Centre, supporting the wellness of Dakelh individuals and families through culturally grounded, client-centered care. In alignment with FNHA’s Wellness Philosophy and COTBC standards, the Occupational Therapist provides assessment, occupational therapy diagnosis, treatment planning, and interventions that enhance daily functioning, independence, and participation in meaningful activities Bachelor of Science or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Current full registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC).
Membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists is an asset Minimum two years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist in various field and programs Experience in community interventions and coordination or service plans is an asset Experience working with individuals, families and community organizations Experience working with First Nations communities preferred Municipal Pension plan with an employer contribution of 9.31% ~3 weeks’ vacation, which increases with service to 4 weeks, plus 5 personal days, 1 volunteer day, and 14 public holidays including National Indigenous People’s Day, National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, Easter Monday and Boxing Day ~ Access to group health advantages and a Health Care Spending Account through Canada Life on day 1 of employment ~Leading with culture, all FNHA employees complete San’yas Indigenous Cultural Safety Training. The Pay
Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
