Join Canadian Mental Health Association Lambton Kent as a part time Client Care Assistant. This role supports clients through individual care plans and empowerment skills in a flexible work environment. This temporary position, up to 18 months, requires assisting in social drop-in activities and reinforcing client routines that promote recovery. Collaborate with clients utilizing your lived experience with mental health challenges to help them set and achieve their goals.

- Assist in delivering social drop-in activities for clients
- Help clients create individual care plans and set goals
- Support clients in developing healthy daily routines
- Address clients’ concerns promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with the team on program evaluation and adjustments
Requirements:
- Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent
- Certificate in Personal Support Worker program preferred
- Lived experience with mental illness or addictions
- Peer training considered an asset
- Flexible hours to meet client needs
