Job Title: Part time Industrial Cleaner This part-time industrial cleaner role focuses on maintaining a clean, protected, and orderly environment within an industrial and commercial construction space in its final stages of completion. You will perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing, while following direction from on-site supervisors and working in a quiet, organized atmosphere. Sweep floors throughout the industrial and commercial construction space to remove dust, debris, and scuff marks.

Buff or remove scuff marks from flooring to keep surfaces looking neat and well-maintained. Wipe down countertops, work surfaces, and other high-contact areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene. Clean glass windows and other glass surfaces around the site to ensure visibility and a professional appearance.

Perform general cleaning and sanitizing duties as needed to support a clean and safe worksite. Follow direction and instructions from on-site Superintendents and assistant supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet cleaning standards. Work independently to manage your cleaning responsibilities and complete tasks within assigned timeframes.

Adhere to site safety guidelines and maintain a tidy workspace while operating in an industrial construction environment. Proven general cleaning experience in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Capability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Reliability and availability to work a part-time schedule as assigned. Comfort working in an industrial and commercial construction environment. Strong attention to detail when cleaning floors, glass, countertops, and window sills.

Experience as an industrial cleaner or general laborer in construction or commercial facilities is an asset. Familiarity with basic cleaning tools, supplies,



and techniques used in industrial and commercial spaces. Ability to follow instructions from site leadership and adapt to changing priorities.

Strong time management skills to complete cleaning tasks within scheduled shifts. This chance offers a flexible, predictable part time schedule with options to work either 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. three days every three weeks or 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. four days every three weeks, supporting work-life balance and personal commitments. The role is based in an industrial and commercial construction space that is in the final stages of completion, providing a relatively clean and quiet atmosphere compared to active construction sites.

You will report directly to on-site Superintendents and assistant supervisors, receiving transparent direction on daily tasks and priorities. The schedule is part-time with options for a 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. shift three days every three weeks or a 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. shift four days every three weeks. The site offers easy parking and a calm environment, enabling you to focus on maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the facility.

This is a Contract position based out of Burnaby, BC. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
