About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Parts Manager to join us at Key West Ford.

The Parts Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Parts Department, ensuring excellent service to our Service Department, Sales Department and retail customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee all daily Parts Department operations
- Manage, coach, and develop parts department staff
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels and ensure accurate inventory control
- Monitor parts ordering, receiving, stocking, and distribution
- Work closely with the Service Department to ensure technicians have the parts they need when they need them
- Coordinate parts purchases and returns with manufacturers and suppliers
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and wholesale customers
- Monitor department sales, gross profit, expenses, and overall profitability
- Ensure accurate and timely parts invoicing and warranty-related processes
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe parts department
- Implement effective inventory-management procedures and controls
- Identify opportunities to improve departmental efficiency and customer service
- Ensure company policies, dealership procedures, and applicable safety requirements are followed
- Hiring, scheduling, performance management, and training of department staff
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally





What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in an automotive Parts Department in a dealership environment
- Parts Manager or senior Parts Advisor experience required
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and dealership parts operations
- Excellent organizational and inventory-management skills
- Robust leadership and communication abilities
- Comfortable working with dealership management systems and computer software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's licence
- Automotive industry certification or manufacturer training is an asset
