Drafting foreign and domestic patent applications to articulate the above in writing Responding to both foreign and domestic Office Actions Mentoring, training,



and supporting the development of junior patent agents in training Supporting team priorities and client needs as they arise A Class 1 license with the CPATA as a Registered Canadian Patent Agent (having passed USPTO Patent Bar would also be an asset) ~8+ years of experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications in both Canadian and foreign jurisdictions ~ An advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics and/or Physics; D. or other applicable law degree is not required ~ The ability to analyze complex problems and devise creative solutions ~ Excellent communication skills, especially in writing ~ Bilingualism in French and English would be an asset ~ Extended health, dental, and life insurance benefits. ~ Employee assistance program. ~ Minimum three weeks’ vacation. ~ Accommodations are available on request for candidates participating in the hiring process.
