Salary Range: $22-$25 Flat Rate/Hour

About The Current Open Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivatedindividual to join our service team as an Internal/PDI Technician at Thornhill.In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that every vehicle enteringour inventory—whether new from the factory or a pre-owned acquisition—meets ourrigorous safety and quality standards.





This is an excellent opportunity for an experiencedunlicensed technician or a 2nd/3rd-year apprentice who excels in a fast-pacedenvironment and enjoys the "behind-the-scenes" preparation that makesour showroom floor possible.

What We're Looking For

- Performcomprehensive inspections on new vehicle arrivals, removing shippingprotection, verifying fluid levels, and ensuring all features are functioningaccording to manufacturer specifications.
- Conductinspections and basic mechanical repairs on used vehicle trade-ins to preparethem for retail sale.
- Perform oilchanges, tire rotations, brake services, and battery replacements on internalinventory.
- Identify andreport any required repairs that fall outside the scope of "internalprep" to the Shop Foreman.
- Maintain aclean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are handledwith care.
- Accurately record all work performed and parts usedwithin the dealership management system.

What You'll Bring

- Provenexperience in an automotive shop environment (Lube Technician, Apprentice, orsimilar).
- While a 310SLicense is not required for this specific role, progress toward anapprenticeship is considered an asset.
- Ability to manage a high volume of vehicles while maintaining a high standard of quality.
- A validDriver’s License and a clean driving record are mandatory.
- Must possessautomotive tools.




- Strong ability to follow written instructions andprovide clear updates to the internal team.
