The Maintenance Millwright will contribute to the success of PepsiCo by maintaining and repairing plant equipment and mechanical systems within the Winnipeg manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, troubleshooting mechanical issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and supporting production through repairs, changeovers, and installations on advanced manufacturing equipment. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the maintenance team to support day-to-day operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Class 11 Licensed Journeyperson as per union classification ($38.37 - $46.26 per hour) Shift All Shifts (Days, Afternoons, Nights) assigned according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical equipment malfunctions. Support equipment installations, modifications, upgrades, and changeovers.
Perform duties involving welding, machining, hydraulics, pneumatics, ammonia refrigeration,
plastics manufacturing, material handling, and PLC-controlled equipment. Interact with computerized maintenance management systems and parts inventory programs. Provide support and guidance to less experienced maintenance team members as required.
Complete all work safely and productively while following company policies and procedures.
Red Seal Industrial
Mechanic (Millwright) Certification.
Valid Industrial Millwright Journeyperson
Ticket with Red Seal endorsement. Knowledge of machine control systems and troubleshooting techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals. Skilled in the use of machine shop equipment including lathes, mills, grinders, and related tools.
Ability to work shifts and overtime as required. Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, climb, and perform physically demanding work throughout the shift. Complete all required Safety, Quality/Food Safety, and operational training.
