Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide exceptional care and assistance to individuals in need of support in their daily lives. Responsibilities

- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Administer medications accurately according to care plans and document all medication activities
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe workplace
- Support clients with mobility and transfers using proper techniques to ensure safety




- Follow care plans meticulously and communicate any changes or concerns to supervising healthcare professionals

Skills

- Prior experience in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly valued
- Strong background in senior care, home care, or working with individuals with disabilities
- Knowledge of dementia care strategies and techniques for managing cognitive impairments
- Ability to administer medications safely and accurately
- Excellent caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and active listening
- Capable of performing cleaning tasks and meal preparation efficiently
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and families
