About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager of Operations and Allied Health, the Pharmacist is a member of the Regional Allied Health team employed by West Parry Sound Health Centre and supporting participating primary care organizations and communities across the region. Working collaboratively with patients, families, prescribers, primary care providers and community partners, the Pharmacist identifies and resolves medication-related concerns, supports appropriate prescribing and deprescribing, promotes medication adherence and self-management, and contributes to safe transitions of care and the prevention of medication-related harm.
Services may be provided across multiple primary care and community locations and through virtual care in accordance with the regional service model.

More About You
You will have a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctoral of Pharmacy and current registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists. Additionally, you will have:
- Completion of accredited Prescribing for Minor ailments course and OCP Orientation module
- or willingness to do same;
- Successful completion an OCP-approved course for pharmacist injection
- education or have obtained CCCEP competency-mapped accreditation;
- Valid certification in CPR and First Aid equivalent to St. John Ambulance or
Red Cross Standard/Intermediate First Aid & CPR/AED Level C;
- Training is registered with the Ontario College of Pharmacists;
- Demonstrated satisfactory attendance levels, work performance, disciplinary
history, and positive work references. You have the ability to work in a manner that exemplifies the core values of the West Parry Sound Health Centre: Compassion, Accountability, Rights and Responsibility, Excellence, Safety.
