Delve into the complex chemistry of Titan’s atmosphere with a PhD thesis opportunity at Aix Marseille Université. Focus on the evolution of atmospheric ices through innovative experimental methods. Led by Isabelle Couturier, this research is ideal for candidates with a Master's in chemistry.

Your work will revolve around studying the photochemical effects on icy particles and conducting experiments at the PIIM laboratory to analyze results via high-resolution spectrometry and ion source modeling. Key Responsibilities:

- Experiment with condensation and photochemical processes
- Analyze samples using UV and infrared spectrometry
- Conduct experiments on aerosol interactions
- Coordinate research activities in Grenoble and Caen
- Develop quantitative models for atmospheric interactions

Requirements:

- Master’s degree in chemistry and robust academic performance
- Comprehensive knowledge of spectroscopy and physical chemistry
- Motivation to work collaboratively within teams
- Background in astrochemistry is a plus
- Interest in planetary science research
