Learning Tree Tutors is looking for 1-on-1 tutors both Online and In-Person who are passionate about teaching and who can make learning interesting and fun for their students. Tutors are needed for Grades 11 & 12 Physics.

Hours are subject to student demand but tutors should be willing to set aside a minimum of 2 late afternoon or early evening times a week /or a minimum of 4 hours a week. This position is ONLINE, but there may also be In-Person tutoring opportunities later (at a higher pay rate).

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree(B.Sc. or B.Eng.) minimum. Graduate or postgraduate degree preferred.
- Additional education degree/OCT certification or enrolment in M.Ed. program is highly desirable.
- Experience in teaching or tutoring students /young people.




- Able to teach and provide tutoring support Grade 11/12 Physics
- Familiar with Ontario schools and with current Ontario curriculum guidelines.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Patient, caring, reliable, and able to relate to young people.
- A criminal background check may be required.
