Join our Providence Healthcare team as we work to put patients and families at the centre of everything we do, in the role of Physiotherapist on our Geriatric and Medical Rehabilitation Program. The primary role of a physiotherapist is to assess, diagnose within scope, and analyze the impact of injury, disease, disorders, workplace factors or lifestyle on movement and function. Physiotherapists promote physical activity and overall health at any stage of life when movement and function are threatened.

They prevent and rehabilitate disease, injury, and disability, and manage and improve acute and chronic conditions, activity limitations,



participation restrictions and physical performance through intervention and education. Contributes to the academic mandate of the organization as an educator, resource or support for staff and members of the academic and professional community Is committed to and participates in ongoing quality improvement and/or research in the organization Must be currently licensed by and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO) for practice in all applicable clinical areas Must hold a master's degree (or substantial equivalent) in Physiotherapy Experience in geriatric and medical rehabilitation is preferred Unity Health Toronto is committed to creating an accessible and inclusive organization.
