Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities

- Assist physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans and therapeutic exercises tailored to individual patient needs
- Prepare treatment areas, equipment, and supplies to ensure a safe and efficient clinical setting
- Support patients during therapy sessions by providing encouragement and ensuring proper technique
- Monitor patient progress and report observations to the supervising physiotherapist for ongoing assessment
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatments administered, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare standards
- Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of all therapy equipment and treatment spaces




- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and facilitate smooth clinic operations

Skills

- Previous hospital experience or exposure to acute care settings is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of patient care principles within a clinical environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practices
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and equipment management
