We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Planner/Scheduler to join our team in Opal, AB. This role offers an exciting prospect to support the planning and coordination of our production and maintenance activities.

This position plays a critical role, working with our production and maintenance management teams in both scheduling activities and oversight on requirements of both our internal employees’ and our cost reimbursable subcontractors at our locations. The Planner/Scheduler will develop and maintain weekly, monthly and quarterly schedules to support the overall goals of the organization for both production and maintenance.

Assist in the implementation of asset management, planning and scheduling applications Participate in production planning meetings and provide scheduling updates. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to workforce planning and scheduling processes.

Experience in industrial planning, scheduling Previous experience in mining, aggregates, construction, industrial operations, or a similar heavy industry is considered an asset. Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills. Strong communication and relationship-building abilities. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
