We are looking for an experienced Plant Manager to provide structure, leadership, and day-to-day operational oversight for our plant and its team.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Plant Manager will lead a team of approximately four to eight employees while overseeing plant production, safety, quality, logistics, inventory, and maintenance.
Your role will include
- Coordinating daily plant operations, including processing, treating, packaging, staffing, changeovers, cleanups, and inbound and outbound logistics.
- Leading, training, and supporting plant employees through clear expectations, effective scheduling, performance management, and a hands-on leadership approach.
- Maintaining high standards for quality control, grain grading, inspections, sample retention, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
- Managing plant safety, maintenance, inventory, audits, supplies, and equipment repairs to support reliable and effective operations.
- Evaluating current procedures and creating practical SOPs and improvement strategies that strengthen productivity, consistency, and overall plant performance.
You Are the Perfect Fit If:
- You have hands-on management experience in manufacturing, agriculture, warehousing and logistics, mining and extraction, or a comparable operational environment.
- You are safety-conscious, detail-oriented, computer proficient, and comfortable managing basic logistics and inventory.
- You lead by example and can guide a team effectively in a fast-paced, seasonal,
and occasionally high-pressure environment.
- You are resourceful and organized, with the ability to develop SOPs, conduct safety assessments, and identify opportunities for greater efficiency.
- You are comfortable working directly with plant equipment, customers, vendors, employees, and operational documentation; forklift or comparable equipment experience is an asset.

The position offers
- An hourly wage of $38.00 to $42.00, based on experience.
- Employer-paid coverage of 50% benefits following the probationary period.
- RRSP matching up to 3% after one year of employment.
- Standard mileage reimbursement when applicable and properly documented.
Working Conditions This is a hands-on plant leadership position that may involve flexible hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays based on operational needs. The role includes indoor and outdoor work, exposure to dust, noise, odours, chemicals, seasonal temperatures, and work at heights. Candidates must also be able to perform physical duties, including lifting or moving objects weighing up to 50 kilograms.
