We are looking for experienced Playwright QA Automation Engineer to join our QEA team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in automation frameworks, API and data validation, and AI-assisted automation. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and ensuring the quality and reliability of applications across UI and API layers.

Design, build, and maintain scalable end-to-end test automation frameworks using Playwright. Develop robust UI and API test suites to validate complex web applications, microservices, and backend integrations. Develop and maintain API testing strategies, validating integrations, functionality, security, and data accuracy.

Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues. Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall QA processes. Troubleshoot automation failures and provide detailed test execution reports.

Define, monitor, and report on key quality metrics, identifying opportunities for process improvement and risk reduction. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a remote position open to qualified applicants in Canada. This may change based on the project you’re engaged in,



as well as business and client requirements. 6+ years of experience in QA Automation and Software Testing, with robust hands-on expertise in Playwright using TypeScript. ~ Must have 3+ years in building hybrid or custom automation frameworks using Playwright (alongside proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java). ~ Must have experience working in agile teams using BDD, Cucumber, Github action and Jenkins. ~ Proven experience developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks and test suites. ~ Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and software delivery processes ~ Must have experience working in agile teams using BDD, Cucumber, Github action and Jenkins.
