Job type: Part-time with potential for full-time

Expected hours: Approximately 25–40 hours per week, depending on project needs

Schedule: Generally Monday–Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., with occasional Saturdays. Days and hours vary each week.

Location: In person; reliable transportation to our shop is required.

About the Job

Looking to get started in the trades and learn practical skills or have little experience? TM3 Plumbing & Renovations is hiring a dependable, hardworking helper to work alongside our plumbing and renovation crew.

Previous construction or plumbing experience is not required. We’re looking for someone who shows up on time, takes initiative, and wants to learn and also has good practical judgment: follows instructions, pays attention to surroundings, and asks questions when unsure.

You’ll work alongside a master plumber with 47 years of experience and a crew experienced in everything to do with plumbing, drywall, framing, and residential renovations. Our projects focus heavily on plumbing installations, service and repair work, current builds and bathroom renovations, but we also complete kitchen renovations.

This role involves both plumbing support and renovation work. You’ll start with basic tasks and take on more responsibility as your skills develop.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Help our plumbing crew on installations, repairs, and service calls with tasks appropriate to your training and role.
- Prepare and organize tools, fittings, fixtures, and materials for plumbing jobs.
- Learn about plumbing systems,



tools, materials, and installation methods alongside our master plumber.
- Assist with bathroom, shower/bathtub conversions and kitchen demolition and removal of old materials.
- Help with framing, blocking, subfloor repairs, and insulation.
- Assist with drywall installation, taping, mudding, sanding, and patching.
- Help with flooring, painting, caulking, trim, and finishing work.
- Assist with assembling and positioning vanities and cabinets.
- Learn to measure accurately and use hand and power tools safely.
- Load and unload tools and materials.
- Protect customers’ floors, furniture, and belongings.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe throughout the day.

Preparation, carrying materials, and cleanup are regular parts of this job, along with opportunities to learn skilled work.

Basic tool knowledge or hands-on experience is welcome, but we’re willing to train the right person. Applicants starting their first trade job or changing careers are encouraged to apply.
