As an Intermediate/Senior Engineer at Stantec, you will conduct comprehensive transmission planning studies, ensuring compliance with NERC TPL-001 standards. You’ll leverage your experience with PSS/E and Python, and lead projects within defined scopes, budgets, and schedules. Your insights will shape the future of renewable energy solutions through effective team collaboration and cutting-edge problem solving.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct power flow and transient stability studies • Lead modeling and analysis with PSS/E tools • Develop scripts for automation of simulations • Prepare and review detailed study reports • Collaborate with clients and project teams during meetings
Requirements: • Master’s in Electrical Engineering; Ph.D. preferred • Minimum 5 years of experience in power systems • Proficiency in PSS/E; PSLF is a plus • Familiarity with Python programming required • Strong interpersonal skills for client engagement
