We are seeking a dedicated Prep Cook to join our team. The Prep Cook will assist in the preparation of delicious dishes in the kitchen, ensuring excellent quality and presentation.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and storing food items
- Assist in cooking and preparing various menu items under the supervision of the Chef
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, organizing supplies, washing dishes.
- Monitor food stock levels and communicate with the kitchen team to ensure timely ingredient replenishment
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a kitchen setting
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Team player with excellent communication abilities
-Ability to take direction from the Chef
- Culinary school diploma is required
