Core Responsibilities & Duties

- Stocking and Display: Arranging produce on shelves, misting greens, and creating appealing displays to increase sales.
- Quality Control: Inspecting inventory, removing damaged or spoiled items, and rotating stock to maintain freshness.
- Customer Service: Assisting customers in locating items, answering questions regarding product freshness, and providing product knowledge.
- Maintenance: Cleaning display cases, backroom areas, and ensuring the department meets hygiene and food safety standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Physical Strength & Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy boxes of produce (e.g., up to 30 kg/50-66 lbs).
- Product Knowledge: Understanding of produce types, seasonality, and proper handling/storage.
- Communication: Ability to interact effectively with customers and staff.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accurate pricing and spotting spoiled items.
