Canduct Industries is a leading manufacturer in electrical insulation, primarily used for cooling for oil cooled transformers. Our team is expanding, and we are looking for a Production Supervisor in London, ON. On the job training.
Overtime opportunities. Company social events. Employee and Family Assistance Program. planning & coordinating manufacturing activities with assigned work cells, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, accountability & disciplining employees; ensuring conformance to quality management system; training and mentoring employees; identify and manage risks & opportunities.
Responsible for the productive coordination of work cells, management of provided resources to achieve established goals & objectives; goals & objectives are clearly communicated & understood on the production floor, work cells have the required tools and trained labour to perform, work cells have the material and proper equipment to safely fabricate material. Manage gaps in performance & develop counter measures. Ensure all health and safety precautions are taken, policies are followed and enforced.

Supervisor may be reassigned to other work matching their qualifications from time to time.

The Production
Supervisor will initiate, propose, or provide solutions related to potential process improvements to reduce or eliminate the generation of waste, the handling or disposal of waste through reclamation and/or recycling of material. Ability to work various shifts including nights and weekends. Requires general computer skills and must be proficient in the use of MS Office, email, can source information from the internet and internal databases and learn new software programs.
Works in collaboration with the hourly workers and Production Manager Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet timelines along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Prior supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment will be an asset. Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint ERP, etc.). organizational and time management skills.
