We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Supervisor to join our team and play a critical role in supporting a major capability development program for the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). This program will equip the CAF with cutting-edge technology that can counter a wide range of modern threats across diverse operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead efforts to establish a new production program and associated work areas.

Develop, implement and refine work instructions, processes and standard operating procedures to optimize efficiency and quality.

Ensure all production workflows align with company standards, industry best practices and program requirements.

Coordinate daily tasks and assignments for Technicians and FSRs, adjusting workloads and priorities to meet production schedules.

Provide mentorship, training, and guidance to team members to drive skill development and high performance.

Oversee and support the team in troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges as they arise.

Manage team, including recruitment, training, development, performance management, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

Partner with engineering teams during technical review phases, including document generation, review and process validation.

Assist with the assembly, integration, and testing of engineering First Article equipment.

Ensure all tools, equipment, materials, and technical documentation are serviceable, calibrated, up to date, and readily available.

Promote and enforce compliance with the company’s Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) program, ensuring employees are equipped with the necessary training and supervision to perform their work safely.

Enforce the organization's Foreign Object Elimination (FOE) policy and practices.

Oversee the assembly, integration,



testing and repair processes to ensure the highest quality, completeness, and accurate documentation of tasks.

Collaborate with cross-functional departments such as Engineering, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Missions Assurance/Quality to successfully launch and sustain the recent program while meeting or exceeding delivery schedules.

Track and monitor all required paperwork pertaining to the systems, including configuration management of technical documents.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productions efficiency, quality and safety.

Drive a culture of innovation and excellences within your team.

Perform other duties as assigned to support operational and program goals.

Requirements

5+ years of experience working on military systems in a production or operations environment.

Proven track record of leading or contributing to the set-up of current production programs or processes is highly desirable.

Post‑secondary education in a technical field such as mechanical or electronic engineering, or equivalent relevant work experience.

Additional post‑secondary training in supervision or project management is considered an asset.

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to inspire and lead a team.

General proficiency in personal computers and related software is an asset.

Bilingual proficiency in French and English is an asset.





The successful candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check and obtain/maintain a Government of Canada security clearance and any applicable clearances with respect to the handling and transfer of controlled goods.
