Wage: $18.00/hr

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and hardworking Production Support to join our fall protection manufacturing team.

This is a hands-on position within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will support daily production activities, operate production equipment and an automated embroidery machine, assist with product assembly and labeling, and ensure finished products meet our quality standards.

Training will be provided. Previous experience in fall protection manufacturing or embroidery is considered an asset but is not required. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, follows instructions carefully, demonstrates excellent attention to detail, and is committed to producing high-quality Canadian-made products.

Key Responsibilities

Production Support

- Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.
- Assemble fall protection products and components according to established specifications and work instructions.
- Operate and monitor production sewing machinery and other manufacturing equipment following appropriate training.
- Operate industrial-grade label printers to produce accurate product and identification labels.
- Follow production schedules and work efficiently to meet daily production targets.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards.
- Identify and report product, equipment, or safety concerns to the Production Supervisor.




- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Work cooperatively with other members of the production team.
- Assist with additional manufacturing duties as required.
- Review and understand work orders, project specifications, and requirements before beginning each project.
- Select the appropriate thread, materials, and embroidery design for each application.
- Set up and operate an automated, multi-needle Tajima embroidery machine controlled by computer software.
- Monitor the embroidery process to ensure consistent quality and accurate production.
- Produce embroidery accurately and efficiently while maintaining established quality standards.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and maintenance as required.
- Inspect completed embroidery for accuracy, appearance, placement, and overall quality.

Qualifications & Skills

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and a good eye for quality.
- Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to manage and track multiple work orders.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
- Ability to read and understand instructional manuals and work instructions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Good word-processing skills for creating and maintaining accurate records and documentation.




- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team environment.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Assets

- Experience with Tajima embroidery machines or similar computerized embroidery equipment.
- Brother, Juki, HiTech sewing machines or other industrial sewing machine experience.
- SATO Printers and Label View software.
- Manufacturing or production experience.
- Experience working with fall protection equipment or other safety products.
- Experience working with work orders, production schedules, or manufacturing documentation.

Experience in Fall Protection Is Not Required Training will be provided. Previous experience working with fall protection products is considered an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates the reliability, attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn required for the position.

Because our products are life-safety equipment, accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail are essential to this role.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
