The Civil Project Engineer is responsible for planning and conducting assignments with a high level of specialization and autonomy. This role involves solving complex engineering problems, modifying established guidelines, and applying mature engineering knowledge to improve design standards, reduce costs, and enhance work quality. Plan and conduct complex engineering assignments with minimal supervision.

Modify established guidelines and devise new approaches to meet project requirements. Apply existing criteria in new ways and draw conclusions from comparative situations. Develop and recommend improvements in design standards to lower costs or enhance work quality.

Providing technical guidance on projects involving sewer systems, water management, earthworks, and road infrastructure. Investigate and solve unusual design and field engineering problems by devising new approaches or applying existing criteria in innovative ways. Coordinate difficult and responsible tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

Discuss design problems, explain design features and specifications, and outline project control criteria. Establish and maintain client contacts to seek or provide technical information related to projects. Communicate effectively with clients to discuss project progress, challenges, and solutions.

Manage mid-sized to large projects, ensuring adherence to budget,



schedule, and performance objectives. Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field). Minimum of 7 years of experience in an engineering role, preferably within a consulting setting.

Strong knowledge of engineering principles, design standards, and best practices. Proven ability to solve complex engineering problems using innovative approaches. Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.

Project management experience, with a demonstrated ability to manage mid-sized to large projects.
