Position Overview

With opportunities in property accounting, you will play a key role in the financial management of real estate portfolios, ensuring the accuracy of reporting, budgeting, and accounting operations. You will work closely with property management, asset management, and leadership teams to support informed business decisions and maintain strong financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare monthly financial statements and reporting packages

- Perform account reconciliations and variance analyses

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

- Process tenant billings and monitor rent collections

- Support annual budgeting and forecasting exercises

- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities





- Prepare journal entries and maintain accounting records

- Coordinate audit requests and support compliance requirements

- Analyze financial performance and identify discrepancies

- Collaborate with operations and property management teams on financial matters

Desired Candidates

- Candidates with experience in property accounting or real estate finance

- Experience supporting commercial, residential, or mixed-use portfolios

- Robust understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

- Experience with Yardi, MRI, JD Edwards, SAP, or similar accounting systems

- Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills

- Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Bilingual (French & English) considered an asset
