We are expanding our Property & Casualty Actuarial team and are looking for a skilled P&C; Actuarial Consultant who is eager to make an impact. Our team works closely with clients to address pricing, valuation, and financial condition testing challenges in a culture that values collaboration, integrity, and professional growth. This posting is for an existing vacancy that we are actively seeking to fill.

As a key member of the P&C; Actuarial team, you will contribute to diverse actuarial and strategic projects, depending on your skills and interests. Support rate development, quantitative analysis, and strategic input across multiple Canadian jurisdictions. Play an active role in the preparation and review of regulatory rate filings, collaborating with clients to ensure accuracy, compliance, and clear actuarial support.

Analysis and Research: Perform actuarial research and statistical analysis to inform pricing models and improve predictive accuracy.

Client and Project Management: Support and potentially lead pricing projects with the assistance of a strong internal team. Assist in drafting client deliverables and presentations for management and regulatory audiences. Work closely with members of the P&C; team to share knowledge, support projects, and deliver high-quality results.

Coach and mentor junior staff to develop their technical and qualified skills. Act as a role model for Eckler’s values and contribute to a positive, high-performance culture.



Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Interest in developing the expertise required to assume signing actuary responsibilities for regulatory rate filings now or in the future.

Experience with valuations of policy liabilities and Financial Condition Testing considered an asset.
