We are seeking an experienced Buyer – Glass Products to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the glass industry and a strong background in purchasing and supplier management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Purchase architectural and construction glass products based on customer orders and company requirements.

- Source, evaluate, and maintain relationships with glass manufacturers and suppliers.

- Request and compare quotations and negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and other purchasing conditions.

- Prepare and manage purchase orders and follow up on production schedules.

- Coordinate with suppliers, sales, logistics, and other departments to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.

- Monitor product specifications, quality requirements, purchasing costs, and delivery schedules.

- Maintain purchasing records, supplier information, pricing, and related documentation.





- Assist with resolving quality, quantity, specification, and delivery issues with suppliers.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years of purchasing/procurement experience in the glass industry is required.

- Strong knowledge of glass products, specifications, pricing, and manufacturing processes.

- Experience working directly with glass manufacturers and suppliers.

- Robust negotiation, communication, and supplier-management skills.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to manage multiple purchase orders and priorities simultaneously.

- Experience with international purchasing/importing is an asset.

Pay: $48,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
