We are looking for a detail oriented Quality Assurance Analyst. The successful candidate can confidently identify, document, and communicate software issues while collaborating closely with developers and product teams to ensure a high-quality user experience. They are detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of balancing thorough testing with fast-paced delivery.
The Ava team is primarily remote, with employees located all across Canada. Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive manual test cases for regular software releases. Perform end-to-end testing of clinic workflows, including scheduling, patient management, billing, charting, reporting, and other key EMR functions.
Collaborate with Product, Development, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, identify potential issues, and support release quality. Perform functional, regression, smoke, and release validation testing before production deployments. Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
Evaluate releases for functionality, usability, reliability, and overall user experience. 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, or a related role ~ Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and bug tracking workflows ~ Experience testing web and/or mobile applications across different devices and browsers ~ Ability to clearly document, reproduce, and communicate issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders ~ Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Linear, Postman, GitHub, or similar platforms is an asset ~ Experience with automated testing frameworks is considered an asset ~ Health benefits include paramedical, prescriptions,
