Our client is seeking a QA/QC Regulatory Officer to establish and maintain strong quality-management and regulatory-compliance systems across its North American manufacturing operations.

The role has an important cross-border component, ensuring products manufactured in Canada meet applicable technical, safety, traceability and certification requirements for both the Canadian and United States markets . Maintain QA/QC systems for manufactured explosive products and detonators. Ensure products are appropriately tested, certified and traceable.

Develop sampling procedures and quality-control documentation.



Monitor testing and inspection of raw materials and finished products. Conduct and document internal quality audits. Manage regulatory alignment between Canadian and U.Maintain regulatory documentation required for cross-border market access.

Support compliance relating to NRCan/ERD, ATF, DOT and MSHA requirements. Conduct root-cause analysis and continuous-improvement initiatives. Support supplier quality management. Develop QA procedures and control sheets.

Analyse quality statistics and identify improvement opportunities. Reduce rework, scrap and production downtime through stronger quality controls. Prepare technical and management reports. Assist in transferring technical and quality expertise into North American operations.

Industrial Engineering

Minimum 3 years' QA/QC or relevant quality experience . Ability to interpret and implement quality procedures. Solid analytical capability and computer literacy.

Experience within explosives, chemicals, mining or regulated manufacturing. S. product certification/regulatory processes. This position would suit a quality professional who is comfortable operating between manufacturing quality, regulatory compliance and technical product certification , rather than someone whose experience is limited to routine inspection. #
