Liaise between our customers, Quality and Manufacturing for warranty-related concerns.

Monitor the warranty performance for each TPNO supplied carline through the customers’ database. Through in-depth data analysis, identify top issues, summarize findings/results into reporting matrices and distribute to applicable internal and external program teams. Support management with data as required.

Warranty Analysis

Provide historical warranty data for new vehicle program proactive initiatives Obtain and review in-plant repair data Reconcile or negotiate customer warranty claims as applicable Support the reconciliation and negotiation for larger scope warranty claims Field Contact Customer contact for warranty information from Yazaki: manufacturing, design and quality Analyze field returns, conduct teardowns,



document and report investigation findings Initiate and implement warranty containment and rework activities with the customer Support corrective action proposals for warranty issues attributable to the customer Provide field support to the customer for dealership visits as requested Provide on-site support to customer for warranty investigations Facilitate customer facility visits by Yazaki related to warranty claims Support long-range and short-term group forecasts, goals, objectives, and priorities Support other projects, tasks, and/or duties as assigned Bachelor’s degree in engineering-related discipline preferred, related field or equivalent experience Required: 2 years of experience in Automotive Quality experience or related training preferred Travel Requirements: Domestic and international as required Language: Software: Microsoft Suite Office position – primarily sedentary Composure to meet the pressures of deadlines and requirements for multiple simultaneous projects Computer savvy to effectively utilize word processing and spreadsheets Analysis, Cause ID and Confirmation, Collective Action and Resolution) Statistical aptitudes to perform analyses and reporting functions Knowledge of customer warranty databases Yazaki North America is committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all persons regardless of race, color, religion, sex, age, marital status, national origin, disability, handicap, veteran status, or other legally protected status or characteristic.
