ABOUT FTAI AVIATION LTD. (FTAI owns and maintains commercial jet engines with a focus on CFM56 and V2500 engines. Conducting audits and inspections: Perform internal audits of maintenance, operational, and safety systems to ensure compliance with regulations such Transport Canada's CARs, international standards and company policies, such as the Maintenance Policy Manual (MPM) and other international regulations.

Monitor adherence to QA process, identify gaps and work multiple teams to implement corrective and preventive actions Continuous improvement: Support the development and implementation of the company's Safety Management System (SMS) and other continuous improvement initiatives. Implement programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses Quality Assurance support/liaison with the various areas such as operations, repair center, engineering etc.
Candidate must be bilingual (French and English) Must have 3 years Quality Assurance Environment experience.
Minimum of 3 year of technical engine maintenance experience or repair shop experience Abilities to support shop floor employees and other support group (customer support/ Engineering) with QA and regulatory related issues.
Experience with aviation maintenance, operations, and quality assurance programs.
Experience with investigation tools and methodologies such as 6S, Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), and 5 Whys for problem-solving and process improvement Effective oral and written communication skills for writing reports and collaborating with various teams and regulatory bodies. Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Safety Management Systems (SMS).
