Alberta is looking for a dedicated Recreation Therapy Assistant for its Fairview Health Complex. You'll work under the supervision of the Recreation Therapist as part of an interprofessional team. - Collaborate with Allied Health and Nursing teams
- Implement therapeutic recreation activities for clients
- Monitor and evaluate client progress under professional guidance
- Promote functional independence through recreation
- Participate in quality improvement and program planning efforts Requirements:
- Diploma in Therapeutic Recreation or equivalent
- Valid BCLS-HCP certification
- Minimum 1 year experience preferred with seniors
