The Recruitment

Coordinator will support and strengthen our hiring efforts across Canada, with a primary focus on our hospitality and entertainment venues. Our Recruitment team is dedicated to building a welcoming, high-performing environment where team members can grow, thrive and build rewarding careers. This is a great opportunity for an early-career talent acquisition professional who is ready to take on more responsibility, help build recruitment processes and thrive in a fun but fast-paced workplace.

First 6 Months – Learn & Support Support interview and hiring activities for hourly and entry-level salaried roles across multiple venues. Maintain candidate records and workflows in Asana and the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Learn MRG’s recruitment processes, timelines, and hiring standards.

Support MRG’s recruitment initiatives, including career fairs,



hiring events and internship programs. Lead high-volume hourly hiring, particularly for hospitality venue-based roles. Partner with HR and MRG U to support special programs, including internship programs.

Support sourcing efforts and talent pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill roles. Conduct phone and virtual candidate screens (training and support provided). Track and report recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire and candidate flow.

Partner with the HR team on identifying and executing initiatives towards continuous improvement. 1–3 years of experience in recruitment, HR, coordination, or people operations. ~ Experience supporting hourly, high-volume, or customer-facing roles is an asset. ~ Interest in building a longer-term career within recruitment. ~ Experience within hospitality and customer service is considered an asset.
