We are a modern, patient-focused dental practice seeking a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our supportive and energetic team. The ideal candidate is passionate about oral health, a strong communicator, and dedicated to providing a positive patient experience.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric patients.
- Conduct vital signs checks and assist with dental imaging as needed.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, dental terminology, and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Implement aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans that meet the needs of each patient.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Dental Hygienist in Ontario
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
- Familiarity with dental software Tracker
- Strong attention to detail and infection control protocols
- Ability to perform patient assessments effectively and provide compassionate patient care.
