Ears To You has changed how hearing services are delivered by exclusively providing at-home or on-site care to all of its clients. We believe professional hearing services should be accessible, convenient and competitively priced. As a clinician, you won't be stuck in the same exam room everyday. You'll be in the community, seeing clients, educating the public on hearing health, and being an active part of changing the way hearing healthcare is brought to clients.
Job Overview
- Provide comprehensive adult hearing evaluations, product recommendations and hearing aid fittings in a mobile capacity within Calgary and surrounding areas: All client appointments conducted in their own homes, or in a fully equipped mobile hearing clinic vehicle outside of their homes.
- Counseling and care of hard of hearing clients.
- Consistent and accurate clinical reporting.
- Maintain compliance with industry standards for client treatment and care.
- Interpret test results and provide accurate diagnoses
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs
- Fit and program hearing aids and assistive listening devices
- Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on hearing loss management strategies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in audiology research and technology
Experience/Credentials:
- Master's Degree in Audiology or certification as a Registered Hearing Instrument Practitioner
- Full and current registration with the College of Hearing Aid Practitioners of Alberta (CHAPA)/The Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists & Audiologists (ACSLPA) or the ability to transfer your current provincial license to obtain either of these
- Have your AADL Assessor Number
- A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Hearing Instrument Practitioner / Audiologist in a hearing aid clinic
- Drivers license
